Cancer Takes Another

This morning I awoke to find that another past work colleague has succumbed to the dreaded cancer. I don’t mention people’s names here or post their pictures to protect their privacy and even though we only kept in contact through Facebook, a shudder went through me knowing that he had lost his battle and yet another family has just started on this journey.

In memory of this person, I have selected a few photos of jobs we worked on together some years ago and will think tonight about his dry humor and our regular fish & chip lunches in Collingwood (Melbourne). RIP mate.
