A Plan B Sunday
Sunday morning, the suns shining and I lay in bed listening to the new birds chipping in their nests in the big tree outside my window. Not really a better way to wake up , but today is going to be what I might call the first of the new Sunday’s in our plan B life, as up to now they have not been great. So, what’s so different about today you might ask, well today I don’t let the dark thought’s play a part in our day and this is what I did with it.
After a late breakfast, home to do some gardening and chill out before heading down to the beach for some fresh air and then some fish and chips in the back of the wagon and watched the sun go down. It’s been a long time since I’ve let myself relax properly; I think more of this type of Sunday might be good.
The trick is finding peace within yourself and being comfortable in your own space. When you’ve been lucky enough to share your space with someone so special for nearly fifty years, it’s a lot harder than it sounds.
